Systems Engineer
Permanent role in Merthyr
Salary of £55,200 to £69,000

Duties:

• Development, and management and maintenance of sub-system Interface Requirement Specifications, Interface Definition Documents and Interface Control Documents.
• Development of concept designs and prototype solutions to multi-discipline and complex engineering problems that meet requirements and interface specifications.
• Development of concept and prototype designs into detailed design solutions.
• Conducting design evaluations and reviews at both sub-system and system levels; providing documented evidence to support validation and verification.
• Leading and/or participating in internal and external reviews at each stage of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle..

Requirements:

• Experience of the Application of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
• High level of competence in core Systems Engineering skills, Requirements, System Architecture, Interfaces, Verification & Validation.
• Competent use of Systems Engineering Tools and Technologies including requirements management (e.g. IBM DOORS, Rhapsody, Windchill PDM-Link and DRACAS).
• Knowledge and experience of Training domain and related systems and sub-systems.
• Working within a multi-discipline organisation and closely with suppliers and customers.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills to stakeholders at all levels.
