Mechanical Fitter (Fabricator)

£19 PAYE per hour or £25 Umbrella per hour
 
We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters (Fabricator) based in Stockport, Cheshire.
This is going to be an on-going contract position with the possibility of going permanent down the line.
The hourly rate will be either £19 PAYE per hour or £25 Umbrella per hour + enhanced overtime rates.
 
Key responsibilities:

• To fit/fabricate aluminium material using jigs and fixtures in line with fabrication procedures
• To use drawings and work instructions to complete all tasks
• To use hand tools and the appropriate measuring instruments to the task

 
Key skills required:

• Practical fitting experience in a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Must be able to pass a DBS check if successful
