Mechanical Design Engineer
Mechanical Design Engineer with ideally 3-5 years exp of 3D design work required for a Permanent role based in Rugeley, Staffordshire.
 
 
Duties include:
 
CAD Modelling & Design of components and assemblies (Ideally Solidworks).
Completion of component and group drawings.
Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
Involving other engineers and technical resources to address detailed technical problems.
Working with a global team that requires virtual collaboration.
Working with design resources and suppliers to rapidly implement design changes.
 
 
Candidate Requirements:

Working knowledge of solid modelling (ideally SolidWorks – Although most 3D Packages will be considered & training provided)
Complex Machinery, Rotating/reciprocating Equipment
Understanding of design for manufacturing / design for assembly philosophies
Engineering degree or HNC/HND.
Capable of working as part of a team collaborating with colleagues in different geographies.
