Aircraft Maintenance Planner
£35-£40k
We currently require a Aircraft Maintenance Planner for our Client in Dorset
This is a permanent role for a well known, well respected company within the Aviation Industry
Responsible for medium/short term planning requirements,
Material planning requirements and the production of work-packs to support aircraft scheduled maintenance inputs.
Review of Aircraft base maintenance work packages prior to A/C departure.
Update of Maintenance tracking system post maintenance interventions.
The planner is also responsible for raising and the upkeep of the maintenance forecasting sheet(s).
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all appropriate legislative and Company procedures are adhered to.
- Liaise with Technical Records, the Maintenance Team and other key departments to ensure a common understanding of capability and capacity
- Raise scheduled maintenance workpacks to support regulatory compliance and confirm required materials and necessary documentation are available for allocated aircraft
- Enter Technical log utilisation data onto the Maintenance system
- Liaise with Customer Support Managers to confirm maintenance dates with the owner/operator
- Review of allocated Aircraft status reports on a weekly basis to ensure full maintenance programme compliance is maintained
- Raise reservations/purchase requisitions for missing materials
- Identify provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisation and update the maintenance planning calendar
- Review material requirements against provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft
- Approve Scheduled inspection task cancellations
- Reset Maintenance tasks on the ERP software
Experience Required:
- Knowledge of commercial CAMO Maintenance Planning principles and practices
- Theoretical and practical application-level knowledge of EASA, UK CAA, UK Military and FAA Aviation Regulations
- Practical application-level knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 27001 as applicable in the aviation environment – Preferred, not Essential
- Practical application-level knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) principles and requirements as applicable in the aviation environment – Preferred, not Essential
- Proven CAMO Maintenance Planning experience
- Knowledge of EASA regulations relating to Part M and Part 145 Airworthiness and Maintenance requirements
- High computer literacy skills,
- Compliant with ITAR regulations and eligible for UK security clearance
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within the aviation industry in a Planning role.
